Product Introduction
The single-phase and three-phase VARIAC variable transformer series adopts an adjustable autotransformer structure, consisting of a toroidal regulating transformer (voltage regulating coil) and a carbon brush assembly. The toroidal coil is mounted on the iron core, and the carbon brush maintains continuous contact with the coil surface through spring pressure. When the main shaft is turned, the carbon brush moves along the surface of the voltage regulating coil, thereby changing the effective turns ratio between the primary and secondary windings and adjusting the output voltage continuously within a range of 0-450V.
The three-phase VARIAC uses three single-phase regulating units with a common neutral connection for voltage adjustment.
Product functions and features
The VARIAC variable transformer provides continuously adjustable AC voltage output with smooth and stepless regulation. It is widely used as an adjustable test power supply for industrial equipment, laboratories, research facilities and electrical testing applications. The output waveform maintains low distortion characteristics and meets the requirements of electrical testing power supplies. The output voltage can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 450V, with customized voltage ranges available according to application requirements. The unit supports adjustment under full-load conditions and features reliable operation, easy maintenance and strong overload capability. It is suitable for applications including voltage adjustment, power testing, lighting control and motor speed regulation. For applications requiring remote or automatic adjustment, the VARIAC variable transformer can be equipped with a motor-driven adjustment mechanism, allowing voltage adjustment through push buttons or external control systems.
