200 kVA SCR Static Voltage Stabilizer for a Bank IT Management Center
As an SCR static voltage stabilizer manufacturer, Winzele manufactured and supplied a 200 kVA SCR static voltage stabilizer for the IT management center of the Qianjiang Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) in Chongqing. The unit addresses high supply voltage that triggered overvoltage protection alarms on the UPS and some equipment not connected to the UPS.

| Site Issue | High supply voltage triggering overvoltage protection alarms on the UPS and some equipment not connected to the UPS |
Before Installation: High Voltage Triggered Overvoltage Protection Alarms
The incoming supply voltage was high and exceeded 418 V much of the time. Before the voltage stabilizer was installed, the IT management center’s UPS and some equipment not connected to the UPS experienced overvoltage protection alarms.
Using 110% of the nominal 380 V line-to-line voltage, the reference overvoltage alarm threshold is:
380 V × 1.1 = 418 V.
Incoming voltage reaching or exceeding this level was the supply issue addressed by this project.
Manufacturer’s Solution: A 200 kVA SCR Static Voltage Stabilizer
As the manufacturer of the voltage stabilization equipment, Winzele manufactured and supplied a 200 kVA SCR static voltage stabilizer for the IT management center. The unit regulates the high incoming voltage to provide an output close to 380 V for the equipment on site.
After Installation: 418–420 V Input, 381–383 V Output

After installation, the three display views show input line-to-line voltages of 420, 418 and 418 V, with corresponding outputs of 383, 382 and 381 V.
| Display View | Input Line-to-Line Voltage | Output Line-to-Line Voltage | Phase Current |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left | InputUAB: 420 V | OutputUab: 383 V | CurrentIa: 81 A |
| Center | InputUBC: 418 V | OutputUbc: 382 V | CurrentIb: 44 A |
| Right | InputUCA: 418 V | OutputUca: 381 V | CurrentIc: 97 A |
After installation, the supply voltage remained high, but the stabilizer’s output voltage was stabilized at 380 V ±1%. In the photographs, one input reading exceeds 418 V and the other two are 418 V. The corresponding regulated outputs are 381–383 V, close to 380 V and all below the 418 V reference overvoltage alarm threshold.

Project Value
Voltage Stabilization for Critical Applications
This project demonstrates Winzele’s ability to provide voltage stabilization for critical banking IT applications, addressing high supply voltage affecting both UPS systems and equipment connected directly to the mains.
Stable, High-Precision Voltage Output
After installation, the output voltage was stabilized at 380 V ±1%, with displayed readings of 381–383 V despite an input of 418–420 V. This demonstrates Winzele’s ability to deliver stable, high-precision voltage for the demanding power supply requirements of banks and other critical facilities.
