SCR Static Voltage Stabilizer for Mobile Satellite Communication and Detection Equipment

A Winzele SCR static voltage stabilizer was integrated into a mobile containerized satellite communication and detection system for field operation.
During outdoor deployment, the container can be powered either by temporary external AC supply or by its onboard generator. Because both power sources may vary with site conditions and generator operating status, the sensitive communication, receiving and detection equipment inside the container requires a stable AC power supply.
The SCR static voltage stabilizer was therefore installed as part of the container power system to provide fast, contactless voltage correction under changing power conditions.

Why SCR Static Voltage Stabilizer Was Selected

The project required stable voltage from two different and potentially unstable power sources while operating in a mobile environment. Compared with servo motor voltage stabilizers that use mechanical adjustment components, the SCR static voltage stabilizer provides contactless regulation and fast voltage correction, making it well suited to this specific mobile application.

Mobile Installation and Vibration Protection

Because the containerized system is frequently transported and relocated, vibration during movement was considered in the installation design.

Shock-absorbing pads were installed under the stabilizer feet to reduce vibration transmission and improve mechanical stability during transportation and field deployment.
