Voltage Stabilizer Usage Notes
Voltage Stabilizers are precision electrical devices. The following precautions should be taken when using them:
1. Avoid violent vibrations during installation and transportation. Place in a dry, well-ventilated area, preventing foreign objects from entering and affecting ventilation and heat dissipation. Keep the interior clean and remove dust regularly.
2. Use a three-prong socket for charging, ensuring proper grounding. If the casing has severe leakage and the insulation resistance is less than 2MΩ, the insulation layer may be damp or there may be a short circuit between the wiring and the casing. Identify the cause and troubleshoot before using the device.
3. Use a fuse or circuit breaker for overcurrent and short-circuit protection.
4. Voltage Stabilizers have output voltage overvoltage protection and will automatically cut off power. 5. If the overvoltage indicator light illuminates, immediately shut down the unit and check for faults in the mains voltage input and the Voltage Stabilizer itself.
6. If the Voltage Stabilizer output voltage deviates significantly from 220V, adjust the potentiometer on the control board until the output voltage is normal.
7. If the carbon brushes are severely worn, adjust the pressure. Replace carbon brushes if their length is less than 2mm.
8. Clean and maintain the coil contact surfaces regularly. If the coil surface is blackened by sparking, polish it with fine sandpaper.
9. If the Voltage Stabilizer output voltage is lower than the rated voltage, check if the input voltage is too low. If the rated voltage is reached under no-load but lower under load, this is because the input line cross-section is too small, resulting in a large voltage drop under load. If the input voltage is lower than the lower limit of the Voltage Stabilizer’s adjustment range, replace it with a thicker input wire.
10. When the transformer load power is large, shorten the input line and increase the current cross-section to prevent instantaneous overvoltage power-off during startup.
